Richard has many years of designing, building and flying a wide variety of model aircraft. He specialises in large models and is probably best known for show favourites like the 1/3 scale Grace Spitfire or the 1/5 scale Mosquito. In the last years his 2 Stearmans (30% scale) with fully working wingwalkers have also impressed and entertained at shows all over the UK. See the long awaited 1/4 scale DH MOSQUITO.
He has won prizes for innovation and design. This year the Stearman team - known as the Baby Wingwalkers - won both the team prize and the Top Gun trophy at the BMFA Nationals.
